Concrete Post-Tensioning
It is a mechanical process used in construction and designed for increasing the tensile capacity of the concrete by introducing a compressive stress of a pre-determined magnitude into a structural member which is obtained by stressing high-strength steel strands, which pass through the galvanized steel pipes inside the concrete and locking them.The process of stressing the steel strands in the post-tensioning is made after pouring the concrete, it differs from other pretensioned system in this respect
